Overall, I liked the Excalibur pool more because, at the time (9AM), most of the pool had shade, whereas the Luxor pool didn’t have any, and then the jacuzzis and the pool closest to Mandalay Bay were all closed. Although people refer to this "inclined elevator" as an inclinator, this is incorrect. The light beam shooting out from the top I would suggest the 10th rather than the 5th and see if you can get a room half way between the inclinator and the far end of the hallway.
